The behind-the-scenes of how I create content (and stay sane)
Here's a not surprising fact: I don’t love spending hours writing blog posts from scratch. As someone juggling client work and working a full-time job, I’ve found that content can eat up your time fast—if you let it.
That’s why I now rely on AI as my behind-the-scenes assistant to generate blog content in a fraction of the time. It helps me take messy voice notes or rough outlines and polish them into posts I’m proud of—all without sacrificing my voice or values.
And recently, I found a resource that made this even easier: a ChatGPT content prompts manager that will work wonders for therapists, coaches, and entrepreneurs who want to save time while still sounding human and values-driven.
How I use AI to create content fast (without sounding like a robot)
Here’s how I create content now, in 45 minutes or less:
- Voice record my ideas – Talking it out helps me clarify my thoughts fast. Specifically, I recommend using Superwhisper. It operates entirely offline, which means your data and conversations are private. You can then ask it to automatically turn your voice note into a note format with headers, subheaders, and bullet points.
- Ask ChatGPT for an outline – I send the transcript of my notes in and get a structured blog outline back.
- Write a first draft myself – This is where I add my voice, tone, and personal touch.
- Ask ChatGPT for feedback – I check in to see if anything’s missing or unclear.
- Final polish – I write the final version and let ChatGPT handle light grammar edits.
The ChatGPT prompts manager sped up steps 2 and 4 dramatically—and gave me prompts for social posts, emails, and more.
Can therapists and coaches really use AI to create blog content?
Short answer: Yes!
Long answer: Yes, but in a thoughtful way.
AI can feel intimidating, especially in professions like therapy and coaching where trust and ethics are everything. You’re not trying to sound pushy or lose that client-centered approach.
The key? Use AI as your helper—not your voice.
For example, I found this stellar directory of content creation prompts for ChatGPT that helps you to:
- Stay aligned with your tone (empathetic, professional, warm)
- Avoid content that feels salesy or makes unrealistic promises
- Keep full control over your content while skipping the hardest part: the blank page
I encourage you to go explore it further! Insid, you'll find:
✔️ Pre-built prompt categories for blogs, captions, service pages & more
✔️ A cheat sheet for how to direct ChatGPT in plain language
✔️ Keywords and tone guides to shape your content to match your values
✔️ A space to add your own prompts over time
It’s not just a "quick hack"—it’s an ethical, thoughtful system you can actually use as your practice grows.

Specific ways you could use the content creation directory above as a therapist or coach
Here are a few examples of how I (and my clients) use these prompts:
- Blog post ideas like “how to manage anxiety before your first therapy session”
- Instagram carousel explaining “3 signs of burnout (and what to do)”
- A FAQs section on your website about your approach to trauma-informed therapy
- Email newsletters offering gentle tips for self-regulation or goal-setting
It helps you create content that educates, supports, and gently invites clients to take the next step.
